Follow the steps below to configure Secure SMTP for Mac OS-X 10.4 Mail.

1. Open Mail, click on the Mail menu then click on Preferences.




2. Click on the Server Settings button at the bottom.




3. Change the server port to 465. Tick the box Use secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Change Authentication to Password. Enter your Actrix User Name and Actrix Password into the appropriate boxes. Then click on OK.




4. When you next send a message, you will be asked to accept a security certificate. Click on Continue.
