Follow the steps below to configure your computer for Actrix Networks

1.  On your desktop, double click on My Computer
                           
2.  Double click on Dial-up Networking





3.  Double click on Make New Connection





4.  Type a name for the connection e.g. "Actrix Networks" and
     click Configure





5.  Check that the correct Maximum speed for your modem
     is selected:  14.4 Modems - Speed 19200
                      28.8 Modems - Speed 38400
                      33.6 & 56 Modems - Speed 57600   

6.  Check that Only connect at this speed is not ticked





7.  Click the OK button

8.  Click the Next button

9.  Enter the Actrix Networks telephone number (086722874) leaving
    the area code blank

10.  Ensure New Zealand (64) is selected as the country code and click Next





11.  Click Finish to save these settings





12.  You will now have two icons in Dial-up Networking.  One for Make
        a New Connection and one for Actrix Networks

13.  Right click on Actrix Networks, then left click on Create Shortcut





14. Click Yes





15. Close all windows (by clicking on the 'x' button in the top right
     corner) and retun to the Desktop

16.  You will now have a new icon on your Desktop called Shortcut
      to Actrix Networks

17.  To connect to the Internet, simply double click on the Actrix Networks
       icon.  A Connect To box will appear

18.  Enter your user name and password and click on Connect





19. Your computer will now connect you to Actrix Networks
